Behavioral and Mental Health Resources

Suicide is the number one cause of death amongst U.S. service members. PTSD and other mental health disorders are an unfortunate reality for many veterans. If you’re struggling with mental health struggles, you’re not alone and there are resources out there to help you overcome this battle.

Mental Health is Just Health

In the military, we never go into battle alone. Every war our nation has ever won was not done so on the shoulders of a single warrior. It takes a team to fight. It takes a team to win. So why is it that after all the bullets have stopped firing and the physical wounds have been mended, we think the battles that continue to rage within our brains need to be conquered alone?

It’s not weak to ask for indirect fire. It’s not weak to ask for air support. It’s not weak to ask for help.

Don’t brush your mental health aside. Being here tomorrow means you’re winning today.
